Empathy for Victim s of Typhoon Ondoy
It’s Saturday morning and it’s raining so hard when I receive the message that our examination (achievement exam) was cancelled due to suspension of classes due to typhoon ondoy. It’s been signal number 2 in bulacan thus, we are never allowed to go out to school as much as possible to be safe and then I started to muse over… the rain is like a usual rain though its very windy outside, I looked if it’s flooding on our street but it doesn’t so I underestimate the caution given by the appropriate agency responsible.
I am relaxed and happy, it’s cold and it’s good to watch DVD that day than go to school but I was astounded when I saw news heading such victims of the typhoon. Most of areas in Region 3, 4 and NCR are flooded by huge amount of water as it reaches roofs of houses and everything is a disaster…
I am lucky, we are lucky that most of us not hit by the unwanted upshot of the typhoon but then we must offer our warm empathy, we can’t help financially we know that, most of us wont do volunteer for such helping group as our parents wouldn’t allow us to make it though but at least in our prayer we can help… help these people through prayer, it’ll help…
Maybe it’s a lesson for us. Mother Nature revenges, so we shall set free, be responsible and be ready for any circumstances like this.
