PHILIPPINE NATIONAL REDCROSS TRAINING

July 13, 2009, Monday is our first day in PNRC. I am almost late but luckily, they never started yet. The first day is the lecture day as they taught us some lecture first to be informed enough with the procedure to be performed later e.g BLS or the basic life support. Mr. Beltran and Ms. Espiritu are the instructors and Ms. Espiritu initiates the first part while Mr. Beltran focuses on skills such as the Respiratory Breathing and the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

July 14, 2009 Tuesday is the last day of our training. A quiz of 30 items was given at early morning compromising of the lecture taught the other day. After checking the said quiz we’re given enough time to practice with the dummies as we will perform the procedure individually and it will be graded. The graded skills began when the clock reaches 11:00 a.m. we are subdivided into different groups and we’ll be having our rounds with the instructors. The skills reaches up to 4:00pm and after that, we took our final exam 3o minutes before 5:00 p.m.

Certificate of Attendance were distributed and as a matter of fact it begins with my Name and ended for my classmate whose surname starts with letter A. Best in BLS is also being hailed with the dedications of JAM TABUADA and the song number of Gherick and Mary Tan adds so much fun for the entire afternoon.

It is very exciting that we may now save lives… at pag dumating ang PRC liscence we may now initiate that fact. We can feel that the reality will soon come. The reality of being a real nurse, BLS is just a part of the routine but it is barely important and now, it serve as an advantage for us to be more competitive.
